Featured Board Member: Kaysha Farala

Kaysha, our first youth board member joined the Board at age 20. Prior to this, she was a Rosie’s Rescue intern, volunteer, foster, donor and adopter.  She has the full range of experience and knows a great deal about rescue at the ripe old age of 21. Kaysha also completed the Ventura County Animal Services Dog Handling training as well as continual on-the job training with the rescue.  She has tremendous energy and works, as well as having just graduated from Oxnard College.  Kaysha is starting on her bachelor’s degree at Biola University in L.A. now.  She is also our current volunteer coordinator.  So when you email about volunteering, Kaysha is the recipient.  We value her positive attitude.

We always need volunteers to work events, publicize fund raisers, act as photographers/videographers, transport for animals and equipment, do graphic design, and act as community educators on behalf of animal welfare.  We also always need people to participate sharing about Rosie’s Rescue on social media. Kaysha is in charge of our Instagram feed.
